Rubik’s cube competition in Montreal

The Montreal Science Center is proud to welcome the very first Rubik’s cube competition held in Quebec. Anyone can go and try their hands at solving the most popular puzzle of all time, or drop by to cheer on our competitors.
The competition runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and it is a free event! The room where the competition will be held is outside of the exhibits. Therefore, you do not need to pay admission fees to the Science Centre in order to attend the competition.

Montreal Open 2013

Canadiancubing announced the first ever WCA competition,  the Montréal Open 2013 in Québec . The cube competition will take place on March 23, 2013 in Montréal, Québec at the at the Montreal Science Centre, which is located at 2 Rue de la Commune Ouest, Montreal, QC H2Y 2E2. The event will be held in the Espace Bernard Lamarre room in the Montreal Science Centre.

Competition Costs

Online registration closes today at the standard pricing model. The cost is $10 to compete in one event. Each additional event will cost $2 to a max of $20.

If you miss registration by the end of today,  you will still be able to register the morning of the competition for $15 for the first event, $2 per additional event with no maximum fee. You can edit your events using the link found in you the email sent to you after registering. Parking at the Science Centre is paid parking. Watching the speedcubers however is completely free.
